Every song begins differently. You may have a lyric, a melody, a voice memo, a personal story, or simply the feeling that something wants to be expressed.
Soulnote songwriting experiences meet the song where it is and help you discover what it wants to become. Through lyrics, melody, structure, chords, vocal expression, and musical development, we turn what is living inside you into work you can understand, rehearse, perform, record, and share.

WAYS TO DEVELOP YOUR SONG
Intro to Songwriting: Per session
A focused starting session for exploring your idea and identifying what the song needs next.
Together, we may explore the story, lyrics, melody, structure, chords, emotional point of view, or overall direction of the song. You will leave with a clearer understanding of what is already present and the strongest next step for developing it.
Songwriting Foundations: 4 weeks
A guided multi-week experience for building the musical foundation of your song.
We focus on discovering and refining the chords, organizing the musical structure, and creating a clear chord chart. This pathway is helpful when the central idea already exists but the song needs a stronger musical framework.
Recording and recorded accompaniment are not included.
Songwriter Development Journey: 4 weeks
A collaborative multiweek process for shaping the song as a complete piece of work.
Together, we develop the lyrics, melody, structure, chords, emotional perspective, and movement of the song. This experience provides space to explore, revise, make creative decisions, and bring the song into a form that feels honest and complete.
The journey includes a completed chord chart for rehearsal, performance, collaboration, or future recording. Recording and accompaniment are available separately.
Acoustic Song Creation Journey: 6 weeks
A complete guided experience that moves your song from an idea or unfinished draft into a clear, recordable acoustic form.
The journey may include lyric and melody development, song structure, chord development, a completed chord chart, custom piano or acoustic accompaniment, a recording session, and the option to capture a guided vocal take.
The finished result is an acoustic demo or musical foundation that can be used for rehearsal, performance, sharing, collaboration, or future production. It is not automatically a fully produced commercial release.
